I don’t know why it’s taken me so long to blog this session since I came home from it and immediate sat down and started editing like crazy – I loved this session so much!  Meet M1 and M2, two of the coolest brothers I know.

M1 broke his arm a few days before this session, got his cast the day before and arrived for the session immediately after taking his first karate belt test.  What a trooper!!  He also had a birthday yesterday.  Happy Birthday, M1!!

M2, clearly wanting to be just like his cool big brother, brought all his energy and charisma for our shoot, too!

I love this next one.  Doesn’t it look like they are actually going somewhere?  Only mom and I know the truth!

I have so many favs, but I’ll stop at this next one.  Their mom is a super great friend of mine and I just adore her little dudes.  Thanks for a super fun morning and I cannot wait until the next time (hopefully with you and C)!

N I N E

Posted on March 1, 2010

This past week, my hubby and I celebrated nine fabulous happy years of wedded bliss. We hit up our favorite park again and took in a spectacular view of the city from their “holiday” balloon (it looks like a hot air balloon, but totally missing all the hot air). It was super cold and super windy and would have been super romantic had it not been for the very vocal kid riding with us asking her dad about a hundred questions about the possibilities of falling off. Ah, children!! If we weren’t parents of a school-ager ourselves, that may have been annoying. Instead, the entire time, A and I were chuckling and thinking about what Nate would probably ask if he were riding with us!

And can I just say how glad I am we choose to do this BEFORE we ate? It was sooo windy. Wine, food and then a balloon ride would not have worked out so hot. ;)

Happy Happy Anniversary, to my sweet and amazing hubby. I love you!

Have I introduced you to Maleia yet?

I have been meaning to blog about my gorgeous new niece for a good three months now and if I wait any longer, I am sure I will forever feel like the worst auntie ever.  Blogging just takes SO LONG, but I won’t digress.  Now where should I start?  I think we’ll go way back:

blog0223aNow that I’m thinking about it, I have posted about Maleia this far back before.  But this post is really more about Maleia and her bestest budy, Adam.  See how they were friends from way back in the day?blog0223bJust a quick note, we do not dress like this on a normal basis!  These were taken at a Totally Awesome 80’s Baby Shower for my sis.  And yes, it was groovy.

More of my sweet niece.

Hey, Little Guy!

Posted on February 5, 2010

“Hey, little guy!”

That’s what my daughter likes to say to her little baby brother every single time she wants his attention and it is so darn cute and so darn catchy that I’ve found myself saying it pretty often at the last newborn session I had.

This little guy was such an angel!  I had a wonderful time chatting with his mommy, a dear friend of mine, while he cuddled, nursed and slept peaceful in her arms.  And this:

This is exactly why I love what I do.
