Happy Belated Easter, everyone!

This is a little bit of a late post, but our little girl has been feeling under the weather, so as you can imagine, we’ve been a little behind with many things in our household But wasn’t it such a gorgeous day! We really enjoyed the nice cool breezes and the beautifully clear skies.

After church and before we headed out to a family Easter party, I dragged my family outside for a few pics.

I love that my son is taking a picture of me taking one of him with his camera in this one! The other day, he saw me looking at a photography video podcast and he asked what it was for. I told him it was something for photographers and he replied, “Oh! Like me! I do that sometimes.” I love it! He’s got more confidence than me…

As you can see, she was just not feeling that into Easter Egg Hunting. I wish she was feeling better that day!

Day at the Beach

A couple of months ago, I had a session with wonderful family at a secluded beach on Galveston Island. I’ve never been to the beach in the off season and none of us really knew what to expect when we scheduled the date and location but we were all pleasantly surprised. The weather was perfect! And this family… they rock!

Aren’t they just fabulous? I absolutely love that they were blowing kisses at me towards the end of our session

He’s Five!

Last week was quite busy for our little family. My son, Nathan turned five and so we spent much of the week making sure he was having a good time! On his birthday we spent some time at the Museum of Natural Science (his current fav) and then hung out around Herman park. It’s hard to believe we’ve been parents for five years now. He’s grown up to be such a sweet, smart and wonderful little boy. Our baby is all grown up!
