It’s almost time.

Wow!

I can’t believe this summer is almost over. It was my first with both the kiddos every day, all day and it was fun and it was crazy but it is soon coming to an end. And while I’m excited to see my son start something new (as well as freeing up a little bit more of my time) I’m really going to miss the simple stuff.

And she doesn’t realize it yet, but my little diva is going to miss him too.

Are you a sibling?

I am the eldest of four girls and although there were moments in my earlier years when I wished I was the only child, I just love that I’m fortunate enough to have the love and friendship of my three sisters.  I’m always facinated with the way siblings interact with each other and earlier last week, I witness some sweet tender moments between a loving older brother and his new little baby sibling.

Hello Interweb!

How are you? I miss you. It’s been a while.

Things have just been a little crazy around here this summer. When I’m not busy playing and entertaining the kids, I’m planted in front of the computer workin’ away.

This morning as I was getting the kids ready for church, I noticed how completely unruly my daughter’s hair has been. It’s always been this way, but today it was just WILD. She doesn’t really let me put anything in it for longer than oh, five seconds, but I managed to get a headband on her this morning long enough to take pictures to document the rare occasion. While I was busy snapping away, my son saw us and jumped in to give his sis a kiss. Just one kiss and then he ran away.  And I know, I know. They’re my kids. But really, how adorable is this?!?
