Just had to share these few pics of my kiddos.  I’m not sure if you can call two years in a row a tradition, but we took a day trip to the Bluebell Creamery and vast bluebonnet fields last year as well.  I don’t know how many years I can get away with taking my school-ager out of of school for this though… ;)  I’m going to have to figure out something new for next year!

What a doll!  All that smiling with her eyes - Tyra Banks/America’s Next Top Model business totally wore her out and she spent the majority of our session sleeping or trying to sleep.  And hey! I am so not complaining!  She was just perfect.

I try really hard sometimes to remember what life was like before I became a mom.  And while I remember lots of happy wonderful memories, life has undeniably been much richer after N Dizzle was born.

A few days ago we spend the entire day celebrating the past six fantastic years, starting with a pancake breakfast cake that undoubtedly made N happy.  Can you tell?

After school he indulged me in a quick session.  Sessions with my kids are so ridiculously rare!  They are not into them AT ALL anymore.  Probably from years of following them around with a camera?!? So I was quite pleased that even his sister joined in on all the fun.

After this, we rushed to the store to pick up a yummy cookie cake and some candles for an impromptu bowling party with some family.  Nate then topped off the night with a STRIKE! With NO BUMPERS!

We’ve had some pretty wacky weather this season.  From shorts to snow, from tank tops to “winter storms” we’ve had it all.  But for the past week we’ve had nothing but gorgeous and perfect days and today was no exception.

Today I met with the lovely H family and we spent our session outdoors, soaking up all the gorgeousness that is Houston in February.

Beautiful day, beautiful baby girl, beautiful family.  It’s days like this that I’m reminded of how blessed I am to be able to do this.
