I learned something yesterday – never pay attention to the weather report. I was doing just fine until it started pouring here at the house in the middle of the afternoon. A quick check on weather.com and the standard weather app on the iphone and I almost canceled this session.

As you can see, my phone is a liar. There were no clouds, there was no lightning and there definitely wasn’t any rain. Unfortunately, there was no “fun” sun to work with either but I think we managed

No worries, mom! We got some without him showing his, um, friendly face… I just thought this was hilarious!

And now, for some belly.

That is one seriously perfect baby bump!

Finally, a little romance before I head off into the sunset, or the storm rather that occurred right after this session for many hours last night.

So glad I ignored the weather report and made it out to this one!

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of meeting M+R, a super fun, super friendly couple of expectant parents. R and I were chit-chatting for a bit and quickly realized that we used to work with each other back when he was living in another state and I was living my old life in big oil. What a small, small world!

I just LOVED this session. M+R were willing to do anything I asked and what I asked for were a lot of kisses! By the end of the session, these two were pros!

I quickly went through these photos last night and I have so many favs, I can’t possibly post them all now. M, I know you want more but here are a couple to tide you over!

I can’t wait to show you guys the rest! M+R, thanks for an incredibly fun afternoon. I cannot wait to meet your sweet pea in a few weeks!

Ladies and Gents, I have survived two whole months of no sleep, raging hormones, an endless amount of poopy diapers and non-stop crying (Adam’s and mine)! Hooray for newborns! No, seriously. He has been a dream and despite all that I listed above, there’s also cuddling, laughter, cooing, tears of joy and lots and lots of love all around. Now that he’s two months old his big brother and sis are able to play with a him a little more.

In case you missed it in the photo above, N Dizzle has lost yet another tooth!

My hubby actually had to pull that one out. Yeesh!

Is it just me or do your children seem to age like crazy once you get a newborn in the house? I feel like M is a totally different person now.

I don’t care how old she gets, she will always be my baby girl.

And speaking baby girls, I am about to become an auntie again! My sister is due any day now and we cannot wait to meet her baby girl.

Oh, Baby.

J and T, it was great to meet you. Thanks so much for having me and for being so willing to do all the crazy things I asked…

And J, you weren’t kidding about those mosquitoes! I think I got about 10 bites from the 15 whole minutes we spent outside! It was worth it, though!
