We’ve had some pretty wacky weather this season.  From shorts to snow, from tank tops to “winter storms” we’ve had it all.  But for the past week we’ve had nothing but gorgeous and perfect days and today was no exception.

Today I met with the lovely H family and we spent our session outdoors, soaking up all the gorgeousness that is Houston in February.

I think this one’s my favorite:

Isn’t she a doll?  And so super friendly, too! Here she is in one of the many shots of her waving.

Beautiful day, beautiful baby girl, beautiful family.  It’s days like this that I’m reminded of how blessed I am to be able to do this.

I don’t normally post sneak peaks so soon after a session but I don’t normally bring my daughter along either.  This morning’s session was for some dear friends of ours and my two-year-old came to hang out and play while I take turns chasing after Lil’ Miss C and Mr. L.  She is so worn out from all the playing and is taking an extra long nap.  Hooray for long naps!  Of course, I knew she would make her way into a couple of shots.  Here she is, making herself comfortable and acting like part of the family.  Can you find her?

So, Lil’ Miss C is a sassy, one…  She was all dressed up looking as gorgeous as can be and all she wanted to do was run around and play hide and seek.  Which means much of our morning was like this:

No worries though.  With a little sugar (a lot, really) and a tiny bit of reverse psychology (ha!) and we managed to get a couple glamor shots in

Her little brother is just as gorgeous.

I could bite him!  But, you know.  It would hurt, so I didn’t…

And fun is what I had this morning with a sweet little, dancer, cook and photographer in the making.  She’s only two and already so good at all three!

I thought it was just so cute how she would say, “Cheese me!” whenever she wanted her picture taken.  Here she is cheesing me!

Her little brother won’t have a shortage of things to learn from her when he gets a little older.

Although, he’s already pretty talented himself.  Only three months old and already such a striking model!

I have so many favorites from this morning’s session already!  But here’s just one more of big sis giving her baby brother some love.

Not even five minutes after meeting K and her two kiddos this past week and I already knew that I was going to really enjoy this session.  First off, her little ones were just super adorable and sweet.  Big sis, C was so cooperative and adoring to her brother and baby C was so full of smiles!

And I don’t even have to point out those gorgeous baby blues…

Also, when mom admitted to me that she didn’t usually get up that early in the morning (I’m not going to say what time!) I knew she was someone I could get along great with.  Finally, a mom on the same funky schedule I’m on!

We were all over the place that morning.  Inside, outside, princess room, prince room, outside again… I totally worked up a sweat, but these guys were troopers!

I could go on and on posting images from this session, but I’ll stop here.  Well, after just one more of C&C
